The first Latina ever to create the show, write and produce her own program for a network. She began her life in Texas but later relocated into Los Angeles, where she continued to pursue her profession. She has had guest appearances in shows like Sons of Anarchy or General Hospital. She also wrote for the TV series Mind of Mencia. She also hosts and stars on the TV show 'The View. The actress has also been involved in several films, including The Angry Birds Movie.
