Barbara Mori

Barbara Mori Ochoa (Maxican-Uruguayan) is a model and actress. She started her career as a model but later became an acclaimed TV actor. She was born in Montevideo, Uruguay on the 2nd February 1978. She comes from a Japanese heritage and a Uruguayan heritage. There are two brothers and sisters. Yuyi Mori, her father and Rosario Ochoa, are both her parents. Her father and mother divorced after Barbara was 3 years old. age. Barbara spent most of her youth in Mexico and Uruguay before moving to Mexico City. It was an exciting and unexpected beginning to her career as a model. Barbara used to be a waitress when she was just 14 years old. Marcos Toledo invited Barbara to be a model when she was spotted by him one day. Her husband has been Sergio Mayer whom she met at the age of nineteen. They never got married, but they have one son. Barbara learnt acting in El Centro De Estudios De Formasion Actoral. Al Norte Del Corazon was the first television show that she appeared in, which was her acting debut. Tric Tac was next, and then she starred on another sitcom. Mirada De Woman was another appearance. Barbara was in films such as Viento en Contra Spanish Beauty Robots Pretendiendo and Inspiracion and many more. Indian Director Rakesh Roshan cast her in his film Kites together with Hrithik Roshan . The film was shot on location in New Mexico Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Kites, released in 2010 did not fare well on the box office.
