Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, actress, American stage and screen actor and producer. Her most well-known work is as a film actress for her role in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She is a graduate of the BA in African-American Studies and an MFA from Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer working in film, theater, as well as television. Her acting career started in the theater. She then appeared in several television shows in independent films, mainstream and films. She became famous as Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico in addition to appearing in BET's epic show The Book of Negroes. For both of these roles she received critical acclaim and a variety of awards and nominations, among them her first award, the Television Critics Choice Award for the Best Actress. Her career began acting in 1995 when she played Ariel on the stage in The Tempest. On Broadway she was a part of the cast in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. The most recognizable part of her career is her work in Men of Honor as well as the Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. On television her regular role in the ABC's crime drama series High Incident has earned her praises.
